Bhav copy lists the prices of shares for the day. For every scrip bhav copy contains four prices viz. open, high, low and close along with the volume. BCDL is a software that assists you downloading these bhav copies. BCDL will do the following things Remember the date upto which you have downloaded the bhav copies. Allows you to download multiple bhav copies by giving a date range Connects to the NSE, BSE web site, locate the bhav copies and read it Converts the downloaded bhav copies to Metastock format. For the future contracts, BCDL removes the dates from the contract name and appends _n, _m and _f to indicate the near, mid and far contracts. This allows you to view the chart of future contracts in continuation.
